The department of Basic Sciences, at the university of engineering and technology Lahore, Faisalabad campus was established in 2004 and it is offering various courses to Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering. Mechatronics Engineering and Textile Engineering since 2004. The undergraduate classes in Basic sciences department were started in 2020 in Environmental Sciences. While B.Sc. Chemistry was started in 2022.In 2023 department of Basic Sciences and Humanities was further expended and two more new programs have been started i.e. BBA and B.Sc. Mathematics. Postgraduate classes in the department were also started in 2022. Department has a faculty 14 members including 12 PhDs.
